Finance was launched in 2017 MMS will commence from 2018 as a part of the dual degree program for students completing BBA program from NMIMS ASM SOC. Each programme is uniquely designed with a specific purpose, leading to either post graduate in MBA, MMS or professional courses like CA, CFA or PG program in Finance, M.Sc. Finance or MBA in Finance. A strong finance base is created at UG level, especially in the course of B.Com (Hons.) and B.Sc. Finance programme. BBA offers various courses which allow the students to specialize in the final year either in Finance or Marketing domain, so that they can pursue MBA or any other professional program. It offers 6 courses in Finance, 3 courses in Marketing and 2 courses in HR, which are compulsory. Students can specialize either in Finance or Marketing with 5 additional courses of their preferred domain in the final year. B.Com (Hons.) gives full flavor of Accounts, Auditing, Taxation, Business & Corporate Law and Economics. B.Com (Hons.) have 5 papers of Advance Accounting in addition to Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Statement Analysis and Management Accounting. 2 courses on Direct & Indirect Tax, 2 courses on Auditing, 2 Courses in Law including Corporate Law. The program leads towards professional programs like CA or CIMA. B.Sc. Finance program is developed to train the students in finance domain and give them an analytical view. The program leads towards CFA, M.Sc. Finance or MBA in Finance. Some of the courses offered which are unique to this program like Debt Markets, Business Valuation, 2 courses in Corporate Finance, Alternate Investment Markets, Derivatives, Econometrics, Forex and Financial Risk Management, GIPS and Financial Reporting. Each program has been uniquely positioned to achieve a specific need of Industry. M.Sc. The Nava Samaj Mandal Trust started Junior College of Commerce in 2008-2009. Now the Junior College has five divisions each in F.Y.J.C. & S.Y.J.C. with I.T, Maths, Marathi& Hindi as optional subjects. A step ahead has been advanced by inaugurating the Degree College from the Academic Year 2013-14. Not keeping any stone unturned, the Mandal has provided students with well-equipped and modern amenities as well as infrastructure in the asylum. Sadhana Education Society’s L. S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce is a premier educational institute situated in the heart of Mumbai’s suburbs, Santacruz (West). It is a  Gujarati-speaking linguistic minority institution offering quality-oriented education from higher secondary to doctoral programme. Its parent body Sadhana Education Society was established in 1961. Since its inception, the Society is dedicated to the cause of education. With the mission to spread education in all its aspects and phases, across various sections of the society and to promote research and nurture the Gujarati culture, the Society founded its first institute – Smt. Kapila Khandvala College of Education in 1961. Thereafter, it instituted Malti Jayant Dalal Primary School and Malti Jayant Dalal High School in 1968. In 1975, the Society also instituted Malati Jayant Dalal Nursery School and S.B. Kindergarten. Subsequently, to promote the all-round development of students and to facilitate education from K.G. to Ph.D. under one banner, the Society instituted L. S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce in 1980. The inscription ‘DeepoJyotiPrajvalito, Jyanmay, PrakashmayPradeepah’on the emblem, which literally means ‘To shun the darkness of ignorance and to spread the light of knowledge’, illustrates the motto of the Society. The founders of the Society have a distinct vision to promote education and foster the scientific and academic temper of the young minds of Mumbai. The vision and mission are formulated as follows: Affiliated to the University of Mumbai, L. S. Raheja College started its humble journey by offering Graduate programmes in Arts & Commerce. With its incessant efforts, the College earned a distinct reputation of high standards of calibre and commitment. In 1999, keeping in pace with the changing trends in education and the corporate sector, the College was one of the first to offer the then newly introduced unaided programme of the Mumbai University, viz., Bachelors in Management Studies. Thereafter, it received affiliation for Bachelors of Mass Media programme in 2005; Bachelors of Accounts and Finance & Bachelors of Banking & Insurance in 2006; Bachelors of Science (Information Technology) in 2007 and Bachelors of Financial Markets in 2008.
