This policy explains what information Binfo (www.binfo.in) collects when you use the website, how we use it and the choices you have. By using Binfo you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and password (stored in encrypted form) when you register.
  • Profile details: optional details you add, such as address, location, gender, marital status and date of birth.
  • Business listings: business name, description, address, phone numbers, email, website, logo, social media links and services. Business listings are public and anyone can see them.
  • Jobs: job postings you publish, and the jobs you apply for. When you apply, the employer who posted the job can see your application.
  • Emails we send you: we keep a copy of system emails (such as verification and listing confirmation emails) to troubleshoot delivery.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs, collected automatically when you use the website.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and verify your email address.
  • To publish and show business listings and job postings.
  • To send you service emails, such as confirmations and password resets.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
  • To show advertising and understand how the website is used.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account and listings at any time.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to give you a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, or erase it. You can also raise a grievance with us. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

Binfo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
