Located in the heart of central Mumbai, amidst what can be easily called an educational enclave, within walking distance of the Byculla and Dockyard Road train stations, Burhani College has been offering quality academic education with an Islamic perspective for close to 50 years. The College’s pluralistic approach ensures an environment that is congenial for learning and nurtures the development of mind, body and soul. Founded in 1970 by the 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq and head of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, His Holiness Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA, since 2014, the college continues under the benevolent guidance of the 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq, His Holiness Aaliqadr Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS. The college is managed by Burhani Education Society, a registered public charitable trust which was founded by Syedna BurhanuddinRA in 1969 with the aim of “imparting education in all fields and branches of learning and knowledge irrespective of caste, creed or religion.”  Our Vision - Knowledge for all The vision of the college is encapsulated in one simple phrase, “Knowledge for All”This is the guiding principle to help us cater to the needs of thousands of students year after year. Our Mission To evolve competent and value oriented leaders from among the focused and striving individuals of the minority community in particular and the society in general, by providing them with holistic and contemporary education.To cater to the academic needs of the community with a keen focus on economically marginalised and weaker sections of society, especially girls.To impart quality education to students, with emphasis on culture and tradition with a right blend of modernity and technology.To empower the youth to uphold values of humanity, truth, justice, nationhood, global peace and harmony.
