Jashbhai Maganbhai Patel College of Commerce,(Known as J.M.Patel College) was founded in the Academic Year 1988-89 (Nearly 30 years) by the Sanskardham Kelavani Mandal (SKM) which was established in the year 1959 ( Nearly 60 years back), it’s permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai. All the institution under the Umbrella of SKM, is spread out in the Campus of 2.09 acre. Beside being affiliated to the University of Mumbai, It has also been now, registered as Minority College from 03rd April 2019. It’s recognised under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. It’s Academic Audit was conducted by the University and has considered fit college, for Autonomy. It has been reaccredited with CGPA of 2.79 at Grade B by NAAC in the year January 2011. It will now again reapply for accreditation during the Academic year 2019-2020. The College offers 3 year integrated courses in B.Com; B.A.F; B.M.S and B.Sc (IT). It has got good well-ventilated Classroom and other activities area and rooms with proper ambience for all round development of the students. It has proper functional IT Laboratory and last but not the least, a proper Qualified and competent faculty, with wide range of practical experience. Beside, Principal, the Management has also appointed, Administrator to take care of the maintenance of Quality in Education System. All activities are carried out in proper spirit of Statutes and Ordinances of Mumbai University from time to time. The Students can learn and imbibe various qualities, needed in interesting life by active participant in following manner: - Top priority is accorded to classroom as well as online learning by use of technology to the best maximum extent possible.Get hands on training in number of subjects, through various practical and vocational courses and competition of Academical nature.Students has opportunities and options to take part in N.S.S ; NCC (in MOU with other college) ; DLLE (Distance of Lifelong Learning and Extension); Sports; Rotaract Club; Various Associations, number of ex-students who joined as Shy students have grown to be the leaders in the Societies.Enough care is being taken for need and intelligent students, so that limitation of finance should not stop their progress in the life, thus college provided financial assistance to such students in the following manner: - Subsidy and other financial helps through various bodies and / or organisation.College has Earn and Learn Scheme which available to Students, of not only learn but also earn in process.Instalment facilities are given to selective students.College has The Placement and Career Guidance cell.College has System of Mentor-Mentee, whereby each professor guide, on an average guide 50 to 60 Students in technical as well as non-technical aspects of the life. Shailendra Education Society’s Arts, Commerce and Science College was established in 1994 with the launch of Commerce faculty. The Arts faculty was started in the year 1996. The college began with the primary objective of providing education to the lower socio-economic strata of the society who are very often the first generation learners. To increase the employability of the students the college launched self-finance courses from 2004 onwards. Under the self-finance courses BBI, BMS and B.Sc. (IT) courses are offered. The college has been sanctioned Research Centre in the Subject of Business Economics under the faculty of Commerce The College has undergone NAAC reaccreditation process in November 2011 and has been awarded B grade with CGPA of 2.92.

Shankar Narayan College of Arts and Commerce was established in 1994 with a vision to provide Higher and Professional Education in the vicinity of Mira-Bhayandar. The college is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognised under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC Act and accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade in 2017. The college provides a stimulating, safe and supportive environment, in which students aim for success. The college started with 47 students and over the years, College has grown both quantitatively and qualitatively having around 7000+ student - strength. Presently college runs B.Com, B.A. degree courses and Professional Courses like Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Banking and Insurance (BBI), Bachelor in Accounting and Finance (BAF), B. Sc. I. T. and also started B.Sc. Computer Science, Bachelor in Financial Market(BFM).PG Degree Course in Information Technology (M.Sc.I.T.) has also been started which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. The college has started specialised Post Graduation Course – MMS (Master in Management Studies) in the name of Rohidas Patil Institute of Management Studies. The trust has also established Pravin Patil College of Diploma Engineering & Technology to cater the need of technical education in Mira-Bhayander area.Although the Trust has established educational institutions to cater for the needs of the society, the members of the trust felt that they should also setup a new institute to help students to choose right careers and prepare for appearing at the various competitive examinations held in the country by UPSC, MPSC, Railways, Banks and such other bodies. They realised that no such institute existed between Bandra and Dahanu in the Western suburbs and our institution could fill this gap. A decision was therefore taken by the trustees to establish Pramila Institute of Administrative Careers with competent faculty, office staff and infrastructure from 2010 – 11.Quality and excellence is the aim of the institution.
